Meet The Rebels Day Set For Saturday

Event to kickoff at 11:00 a.m. with lunch.

OXFORD, Miss. - The annual "Meet the Rebels Day" featuring coaches and players from the Ole Miss football team, will be held Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Indoor Practice Facility.

Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at $10 per box lunch. Head coach Ed Orgeron will speak at approximately 12:15 p.m.

The Rebel football players will be on hand for autographs and photographs from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Posters and schedule cards will be available for free, and fans may purchase the 2006 football media guide for $15.

The cheerleaders and Rebelettes will be present as well as the volleyball team.

Following the autograph session, the team will take to the practice fields adjacent to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for a full-squad scrimmage. The scrimmage is open to the public.

The day will conclude at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium, as the defending SEC Western Division Champions host Oklahoma State in an exhibition game at 6:00 p.m.
